1) Measuring skills of Burmese
The MLT does not only focus on academic Burmese language, but it also emphasize practical expression, vocabulary and grammar in daily usage depends on level. Therefore, the MLT measures comprehensive and communicative Burmese competence through “Reading” and “Listening”.
2) Showing certification to organization
Persons who are required to show official certification submitted by third part are able to use the MLT for their organization. They are, for example, expats, employee, university students, interviewee and so on.
3) Requirement to get credits at some university
Some university, which have Burmese lecture, allow the certification form MLT to be used as credits, so that students are easy to set a goal to pass the class. *Must need to make sure with professor if the MLT is allowed to use as certification.
